Beyond Curriculum
All-round development of the student as an individual is paramount. At MSIT, we try to instill in the mind of the student the importance of this aspect. The role they will play in the society in general will go far beyond their chosen line of engineering discipline. They will need to. A better day for the people, who are less fortunate and struggling to survive, will only come when the educated youth fulfill their promissed role. That will help India move from a developing to a developed nation, a vision President Kalam called on the people of India to achieve.
Our students are encouraged to participate in debates and discussions covering topics of national interest. They are encouraged to articulate their thoughts and ideas, to listen to the views of others with patience and an open mind. We remind the students that along with the knowledge on their chosen field of engineering, they should also read a cross section of magazines and news papers to be well informed on worldly matters. Indeed our Career Development Programme is designed to motivate the students to be competitive not just in their chosen profession but to be leaders for the future developments of our nation.
