AN OVERVIEW
In a highly globalised world of modern business, academic excellence or know-how in any discipline by itselves is not enough to achive a successful professional career.Young engineers and professionals are expected by their multi national employers to adjust and indeed, participate with self assurance and confidence in dealing with their senior colleagues and customers across the globe.
This is not quite an easy transition from the student life, especially for large sections of boys and girls coming from regional linguistic school background. This discrepancy was noted early in its formative years at MSIT and efforts initiated to rectify the situation. The academic curriculum of the college is supported by its Career Development Programme(CDP) to help students acquire personal attributes essential for a successful transition to their professional life.

Infosys, the leading IT company of India and one of the best in the world,is a partner in our Career Development Programme through their 'Campus Connect' curriculum. The idea behind the programme is quite unique,in that, it trains students to learn and develop skills that are extremely important in the formative years of young professionals. The programme is extremely popular among eligible students and a competitive process has been put in place for selection of candidates.
Campus Selection For Employment
Techno India Group (TIG) has been successful in its effort to bring in prospective employers for the engineers. All leading IT and other MNCs have been visiting the Group for the purpose. MSIT as a member of the TIG group has been benefited from this. In the competitive arena of campus selection processes, students from this college have excelled. The in-house soft skill programme and other preparatory classes conducted to sharpen the competitive skills of the students have contributed to this success.
