Our country is thriving to become a Technology Superpower with West Bengal forging ahead to be the flag bearer of India's Technological Revolution,specially in the area of Information Technology.Taking part in West Bengal's tryst with its Hi-Tech destiny,Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology(MSIT)has been set up to give fillip to the state's endeavour to produce more number of better quality Engineers & Technocrats.
The Institute is located near NRI Complex,behind Ruby General Hospital and only 5 minutes drive from Rashbehari Connector-E.M. Bypass Crossing.
The courses are approved by Department of Higher Education,Govt. of West Bengal and All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE),Ministry of Human Resource Development,Government of India.The West Bengal University of Technology has extended its affiliation to the Institute for undertaking these courses of study.
Operating from its own campus,the Institute offers state-of-the-art laboratories,experienced faculty members,extensive computer usage facilities,latest syllabus in keeping with the industry requirements etc.
Also the Institute draws its strength from the four older and smoothly running Engineering colleges set up by the Techno India group in Calcutta and other parts of the West Bengal.Coupled with high-tech Finishing School & effective placement supports,the Institute is poised to give shape to the vision of eminent scientist Professor Meghnad Saha for a technologically vibrant and forerunning Bengal.
