Departmental Features:

• Many of the faculties are doing research and consultancy work in various fields like Mobile Communication, Wireless Communication, VLSI Design, Device, GPS, Optical Communication, etc.
• The faculties have published a number of papers in National and International Conferences.
• The students are also involved in some of the research activities. The students have participated in IIT Tech-fests and received accolades.
• The past batch of students are already placed in reputed organizations like Wipro,IBM,TCS,CTS,BSNL,HUTCH,Reliance,MBT,Infosys,etc and are doing very well.
• Two new labs are being developed for advanced research works in VLSI Design, Wireless Networking, Optical Networking, Wireless and Mobile Communication etc. in collaboration with other recognized organizations/institutes like IIT KGP.
• Seminars are arranged periodically, delivered by the faculty members and other reputed fellows.
• Career Development Programmes for the students are regularly organized by the department.
• The department has a well equipped library.
